Back office - The department that deals all the matters related to financial transactions of a company.
Balance of Forex Market Trading - The result obtained after subtracting a country’s import from its exports.
Balance of Trade - Subtraction of imports from exports.
Bank Notes - Paper money that the Central Bank issues is termed as bank notes.
Bank Rate - The rate at which the central bank lends money to the domestic banking system is bank rate.
Bar Chart - Representation of the price direction in form of a diagram.
Base currency - Base currency is said to be the currency that is taken as the standard by an investor to maintain his book of accounts. For example, the US dollar is regarded as the base currency of in forex markets.
Base Currency - The currency that is used by an investor to maintain its books of accounts. In the FX markets, generally the base currency for quotes is the US dollar.
Bear - Market participant determined to decrease prices.
Bid - A price value that indicates the desire for the purchase of a currency at a certain price.
Bid forex Rate - This is the arte at which a rate forex trader is ready to purchase a currency.
Bid/Ask Spread - This is the difference between the bid price and the ask price.
Big Figure - Big figure is the expression of the dealer related to initial digits of an exchange rate. In the normal market situation, it does not show remarkable change, and so the dealers do not include them in their quote.
Book - The summary of the positions of the forex market trader is termed as Book.
Boris - This is a Russian Forex Trading and is a slang.
Breakout - Quick movement of a rate consistent with some conditional border.
Bretton Woods Agreement of 1944 - This agreement has fixed the foreign exchange rates in case of major currencies, and made the involvement of central bank in the market of currency.
British Retail Consortium (BRC) Shop Price Index - This measures the inflation rate at different retailers who are surveyed. It marks only the prices changes that occurred in the goods purchased in the retail market.
Broker - A person or an organization that acts as an intermediary in the market. He puts the buyers and the sellers together in order to earn a commission.
Brokerage Fee - The amount that is charged by the broker for accomplishing a transaction.
Brokerage - The commission earned by the broker.
BUBA - It is Germany’s Central Bank.
Buy Limit Order - An order to perform a transaction at a certain price or lower.
Buy On Margin - Currency pair bought by the Client by paying only a part of the overall value of the position. Here, margin is referred to the part of the amount that is paid by the investor in cash and not the amount that is borrowed.
